Good artist bad critic, is a scripted performance about the inner workings of succession in the relationship of the artist-critic. This scripted narrative is drawn from my own personal experience working as a curator in Paris however the tragicomic play about the dual role of artist and critic takes a strange twist when the critic becomes the subject of the artist’s work and the artist ends up playing the role of a critic-gallerist. and successional reversals that take place in these relationships.

Drawn from my own personal experience working as a curator in Paris, Good artist bad critic, a tragicomic play about the dual role of artist and critic that I scripted with myself playing the artist and my colleague Tobias Benedetto playing the role of the curator/critic. 

In a strange and tragic twist of fate, the curator/critic becomes the art and the artist is redeemed in his quest for fulfilment and validation. The project allowed me to examine my role as an artist while adressing in particular, the administrative "weight" that curators have.
