The California years are marked by experimentation in drawing and painting with themes explored ranging from personal narrative, local culture and international politics. In this time I would collaborate actively with other artists, the San Diego Art Institute,  Radioactive Future Collective and the local planning commissions of North Park and Ocean Beach.
